Poor Memory management

Hi guys, I'm looking for a solution to an issue I'm having with SOAPUI PRO 3.6.1. I am testing an endpoint that can return response messages with sizes up to 3mb. Every time I hit Overview tab on the Response SOAPUI seems to spaz out - consuming up to 1GB of RAM+ before totally melting down and requireing a a software restart (i.e. End Process via task manager).

I have memory management within SOAPUI set to a pretty regular interval but this doesn't seem to have any impact. Is this a known issue with SOAPUI?

    Hi Richard,

    the Overview tab requires quite a lot of memory, so a message of 3mb will probably not be renderable (which you already have discovered).

    You could try to increase the memory settings for soapUI as described at http://www.soapui.org/Working-with-soap ... usage.html, maybe that helps?

    If not there is a global soapUI Pro settings for disabling the Overview editor when a response message is over a certain size, set this to avoid accidental selection of the editor which lock up soapUI.
