Normalize line-break creates tmp files in composite project

I have a Composite Project with several test suites and several test cases. In preferences I turned on "Normalize line-break" thinking that it would create cleaner xml files. We upload everything to SVN.
With this option turned on, for every test case that I open, for every time that I open it, a new tmp file is created. When I save the project the tmp files are not always cleaned up. I even tried to completely exit SoapUI, and still the tmp files are not cleaned up.
This creates a problem when uploading the entire project into SVN, as it makes it look like there are new files. I have to manually clean them up.

  • This bug seems to be still not fixed as of 4.6.4.

I'd like to add more information to assist resolution:
Although the tmp files can be ignored for a check-in, if they are not deleted and SoapUI Pro is closed and reopened the tmp files are also added to the project and look like duplicates. If another save is issued tmp files of the tmp files are created with no limit if repeated.

If the project is saved more than once some how SoapUI Pro is able to delete some of the files on exit, but not after a save.

System info: Win7x64 running SoapUI Pro 4.6.4 x64

Is there any additional information on a resolution?
