New to Load testing - Need some advise

Hi All,

I am new to load testing, I need some clarification on the below.

I am using apache which is hosing php application. I have tested basic load test by hitting landing page (index.php). I have observed the attached results. Can explain what does the 6 category (Requests, Running, Completed, Queued, Discarded, Failed) means? And i would like to know what does the running count means?

Does running refers to concurrent sessions? is there anyway to increase running count?

Please help advise me to understand more to make my load testing useful.
