Memory limitations while load testing
Hello,
I understand that how much load soapUI can generates is relative to resources available on the load generation machine.
1. If I have a machine with a plenty of memory available, besides increasing the -Xmx settings in soapui, is there anything else that needs to be modified for soapui to take advantage of the system resources ?
2. Lets say that soapui memory maxes out at 100 threads (based on soapui memory monitor). Would it make any sense to do a load test with 150 threads ? what is the impact (on results) of adding threads beyond the capacity of soapui/load test machine.
Thanks
Ali
