Locking up Soap UI getting to the end of a line in a request

Hello,

This is a minor bug, but wanted to post it in case there is anything that can be done. We have some web service requests that contain a PDF in a byte stream. These are shown in soapUI as one line - that's extremely long. I'm able to highlight the line, and copy it into NotePad++. It shows to be 1,627,549 characters in length. When I'm on this line in the soapUI editor, and I hit the 'End' key to get the cursor to the very end of the line, soapUI locks up (and doesn't seem to ever recover). Attached is a sample request, with the <ns1:documentContent> tag containing the extra long line.

My version: SoapUI 4.6.1 20131024-1314 - 64 bit Windows.

    This is a known issue.

    This is currently being tracked with defect SOAP-732.

    Sounds good - thanks for the response. Is defect SOAP-732 something a person outside of SmarBear can track when it's resolved - or is this only an internal reference to the SmartBear team? Checked the bugs list out on SourceForge - http://sourceforge.net/p/soapui/bugs/

      The max bug id number is 658 that I can see.

      Looks like there hasn't been an updates since the last 30 days.


    Just curious if this was something I could track toward resoultion in a future release.

    Hi,

    The defect number is for our internal defect tracking system. The list on sourceforge may get updated from time to time. When this issue is resolved I can update the forum post.
