Loadui not maintaining SOAPUI -REST request parameter order

Hi,

I have REST Project set up in soap ui which invokes REST endpoint with a specified parameter sequence.

SoapUI 4.6.2 has fixed the bug - "REST parameter order not saved in Request Editor" and it works correctly with SOAPUI Project.

But while integrating the SOAPUI project with LoadUI Project as a SOAP UI Runner and running its not maintaining the REST request parameter order as defined in SOAPUI Project.

Can someone please let know of how to get this order maintained while running from Load UI or workarounds?Thanks.

    Hi!

    This is because LoadUI 2.6.8 uses the SoapUI 4.5.2 engine. LoadUI 2.6.9 will include the SoapUI 5.0.0 engine and will be released shortly after SoapUI 5.

    Thanks much Henrik for your reply.

    As a workaround in the meantime is it possible to update the SOAP UI engine in Load UI to refer to SOAPUI 4.6.2 or later by manually adding the dependencies like latest jar/artifacts to its path so that it gets fixed.

    If yes this would really help us to proceed with our approach of using LoadUI for our tests.

    Hi Sethu,
    Yeah that could work. The SoapUI Jar File you should replace is in the "loadui-soapui-plugin-2.6.8.jar" in the bundle folder.

    Unfortunately if that doesn't work you probably will need to wait for the next release unless you are a PRO costumer. Couldn't find you in our license database. If you are a PRO costumer, please send us your license details.
