loadUI interface very unintuitive :(

Hi all,
I started to use loadUI 2.0.2 and it looks OK. I have several questions that I'd like help with. I have been looking around here for answers, but no luck so far.
I find that the loadUI UI is very unintuitive and is not user friendly at all.
One of my biggest problems right now is to know how to run test cases that I created in soapUI using loadUI. The video tutorials do not address this integration very well.

One really annoying thing is that when I select the option "Generate loadUI Tests" from within soapUI, after several minutes loadUI opens with the default screen to "create a new project" or something like that and noting is loaded:( See question 3.

Yesterday for example I finally managed to run one test in distributed mode. It was beautiful and all that. I saved it and went home very proud of myself.
Today, when I opened loadUI and wanted to continue working on my project that worked so perfectly yesterday...wow! I got a message saying that "Project file does not exists. Would you like to remove the project?". (Yes, there's a typo in the error message)
How could this be???? All my work is now gone?

So, these are my questions:
Q1: Can the free version of loadUI actually save projects?
Q2: How can I load test cases created in soapUI into loadUI *without* first launching soapUI?
Q3: How come loadUI does not create the required test case when I use that option from within soapUI? This is very annoying.
Q4: The "dropping of packets" bug is still happening in version 2.0.2. However I read somewhere else that this was fixed already. Why is this happening?

Thanks to all of you good folks that would take the time to answer my questions. I really appreciate it.

    Q1. Yes it can.
Q2. If you create load tests in load UI and use a SOAPUI runner for example, to point to a SOAPUI test that you want to use, there is no need to launch SOAP. LOADUI starts it's own instance of SOAPUI in the background.
Q3. Given the vast array of load tests you might want to conduct on a given SOAPUI test case, it's probably best that it doesn't just magically create any old load test. If you look at the number of generators available and what they do, you will see what I mean.
Q4. Not sure about this one, sorry.
  • Q4: Can you give us any error messages or examples when this happens? That issue hasn't been seen since we rewrote the agent communication code for 2.0.0.

    Henrik,
Thank you so much for your answers.
As per your request, as soon as I can reproduce that error, I'll post my comments, the steps to reproduce and other useful information.
    Thanks again
