LoadUI 2.5.2

Finally, we're glad to be able to give you LoadUI 2.5.2.

Our apologies for keeping you waiting -- we've had issues with our build system and people being ill.

Bug fixes:

* SoapUI Runner now discards responses quicker, which improves memory usage (LOADUI-601)
* Fixed crash when deploying a TableLog in compact mode to an agent (LOADUI-630)
* Geb Runners, and possibly other components, are now created much faster (LOADUI-570)
* Expanding charts by components/agents now shows the name of the component/agent (LOADUI-585)
* Fix for settings dialogs sometimes having multiple tabs selected (LOADUI-573)
* "Proxy port" in the Web Page Runner's settings was invalid by default (LOADUI-578)
* Fixes to the distribution bottom panel (LOADUI-524)


Misc:

* Cosmetics and styling.
* Max queue and max running can now be configured for the SoapUI Runner (LOADUI-546).
* Amazon AMI published for LoadUI agents (LOADUI-533)
* Removed the dialog when creating a scenario (LOADUI-593)
* Updated some documentation from 2.1.2 to 2.5 (LOADUI-140)

    I just installed LoadUI 2.5.2 and it can't seem to open my project files that were created in LoadUI 2.5.1. I can see my previous project file names in Version 2.5.2 but when I say "open" nothing happens and it just stays on the main LoadUI screen. Then when I exit LoadUI 2.5.2 it seems to become some sort of background task that can no longer be bought to the foreground as a GUI so I have to use task manager to kill that process and try again.

    I am working on Windows 7 professional SP1.

    To solve the previous problem I first uninstalled LoadUI PRO v2.5.2. Then I started LoadUI PRO v2.5.1 (it was still installed) and tried to open the previous (v2.5.1) project files. The result was that the 2.5.1 GUI would only display a blank white screen. When I exited the program I got the error dialog box that says: “A problem occurred during startup and LoadUI needs to restart – Restart/Quit”. I tried restart and that did not help so next time I tried Quit and that did not help. i.e. still blank white screen on next attempt to run it.

    So I have tried uninstalling everything (i.e. free version, version 2.5.1, version 2.5.2 and LoadUI Agent) and rebooting and then only reinstalling 2.5.1 and still just a blank white GUI appears with that same error dialog box.

    To finally fix this I found that I had to also delete the folder C:\users\"name"\.loadui and then restart LoadUI 2.5.1 again and then v2.5.1 recreated the .loadui folder and it works again (i.e. no white screen)

    Make a copy of your .loadUI directory before you do this so you can reload your previous project files and other work.

    The Team has found a solution for this issue. We are currently testing the fix and working towards getting it released as quickly as possible.

    Hi,

    I have installed LoadUI (open source)2.6.2. on Windows 7 SP1 operating system on 1/10/2013. I am still facing the same issue.
