Hi,
If you are referring to the LoadTest Log tab in the LoadTest user interface, that won't affect the performance of your LoadTest.
You can also adjust the level of logging for various loggers in the soapui-log4j.xml file located in your SoapUI Pro installation's 'bin' directory. Please refer to this document for the available options: http://logging.apache.org/log4j/1.2/api ... Level.html
You could experiment with turning the console loggers 'OFF'.
