Limitation / Scalability of LoadUI?

I'm curious on the limitation of the LoadUI tool.
E.g. the maximum TPS that LoadUI can generate/test with a machine and maximum TPS with distributed mode.
Have you ever measured such a maximum numbers?

Is it will be feasible to generate/test 100K TPS RESTFul API with loadUI to test server cluster?

  • Hi!

We have tested loadUI with 10 agents for a week without any sign of problems. Unfortunately, we haven't had the time to set up a bigger test, but it's something that we would love to do soon.

The peak TPS for a simple REST request for an individual machine will likely be determined by your network connection/interface, not by loadUI or other system resources. This means that you can reach ~5-10k REST requests on a 100 Mbps connection, depending of course on the size of the request and response.

With this being said, 100k TPS is quite a lot, which I'm sure you know already. The latest number I've seen of how many searches that Google has per second was 34k.

    Hope this helps
