Hello,

I have installed SoapUI Pro 5.1.2 on linux machine. And on this machine SoapUI Pro 5.0.0 is already installed and running with license. I can execute my project using SoapUI Pro 5.0.0. But when i try to execute the project using SoapUI Pro 5.1.2 on command line then it display following error

================================
SoapUI Pro 5.1.2 TestCase Runner

*************************************************************************************
SOAPUI PRO LICENSE NOT FOUND
Please follow the instructions at
http://www.soapui.org/Licenses/license-not-found.html
on how to install a valid license
Shutting down...
*************************************************************************************

License file is already places at /home/user_name/.soapui.

Strange thing is that if i open SoapUi Pro 5.1.2 in the Xserver in Linux i can see license details but when i execute from command line then it says that license not found .

Please help me.

Thanks a lot in advance !!

  • Hello,

    We have implemented license check in testrunner for SoapUI 5.1.0. If you are running on the same exact user and machine it should be fine. You cannot run it on a second user or machine without a license though. If you are using a CI software let me know, you may need to take extra steps to make it work.

        Can someone please point me how to install a trial or purchased license on linux that doesn't have GUI support?

        I have installed Ready API on Linux. I have also bought two licenses for windows, which I'm using fine.

        On Linux, I wanted to try Ready API first with a trial license. I downloaded th trial license but I'm not sure how to add the license to Ready API on Linux that doesn't have GUI supported.
