Trying to run soapUI tests with Maven using maven-soapui-plugin (Tried with versions 2.5.1, 3.5.1, 3.6.1). The build fails in [INFO] Trace java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/log4j/Layout...

I was getting the same problem but when I removed the repo I was using using i.e. http://www.eviware.com/repository/maven2/ and went back to http://repo1.maven.org/maven2 I got the following error:
'eviware:maven-soapui-plugin' not found in repository:
Were you using another repo apart from http://repo1.maven.org/maven2 to download soapui dep's?
Would you please post the relevant part of your pom.
