JavaApplicationStub: Unrecognized Java VM option ignored:

Hey,

we are a group of students.
We decided to do our work with loadUI and we are all using Mac OS 10.7.5.
And we all share the same problem:
-> after install loadui from the dmg file we can't start the app.

the console-output is: JavaApplicationStub: Unrecognized Java VM option ignored:

We are using the latest nativ Java 6 version and also tested the app with Java7u9. Nothing worked out for us.

so PLEASE help us / me

I am also having this problem.

I'm using Mac OS 10.7.5. I've tried using Java 6 as well as Java 7. I've tried the runtime environments as well as the SDK. I try launching via loadUI 2.1.0 and via SoapUIPro 4.5.1.. When I launch via the loadUI icon the Java 7 splash screen appears on my screen and just sits there. The console log has the message: JavaApplicationStub: Unrecognized Java VM option ignored: .

When I launch via SoapUI Pro, I'm asked to provide the path to loadUI.sh. I cannot find a loadUI.sh installed anywhere.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled loadUI as well as SoapUI Pro - and tried installing through it. I've verified that my java_home path is set up correctly.

I really want to use loadUI on this machine. Any help is appreciated.

My problem getting loadUI Pro was solved by following these instructions to downgrade to Java 6: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5559 for downgrading to Java 6.

These are different than the downgrade instructions I'd tried previously. Thanks to SmartBear tech support for their assistance on that!!

I still cannot get loadUI (not Pro) to launch, but that's ok because I ultimately want to use Pro anyway.

    Thanks,

    Kim
