Issue executing loadui-cmd.bat command

Hi,

I tried to run a LoadUI project using command prompt. The command I used was:

loadui-cmd.bat -p C:\SamplePro\Sat-Load-Pro.xml -r C:\SamplePro\Results -F PDF

My intention is to run Sat-Load-Pro project that is placed at C:\SamplePro and save the results at C:\SamplePro\Results in PDF format
But as soon as I run this command, following error is thrown in cmd prompt.

C:\Program Files\eviware\loadUI-1.5.0>loadui-cmd.bat -p C:\SamplePro\Sat-Load-Pr
o.xml -r C:\SamplePro\Results -F PDF

  • Hi,

The error indicated that the project file is missing:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: File does not exist: C:\SamplePro\Sat-Load-Pro.xml

Can you check to make sure that the file is there as expected, and that the user which is running the command has read access to the file?

  • I believe the problem was with that particular project. When I created a new project I was able to run it from command prompt (one thing I noticed is, if there is any "space" in the directory name where the project file is stored (e.g. "c:\sample project\ptproj.xml"), the complete path is not considered (only "c:\sample" is considered). Hence, I believe there should not be any spaces in the path specified in Loadui-cmd.bat command)

Even though I was able to successfully run a PT scenario, below error was shown just after the execution started

Should this error bother me? ( as mentioned i was successfully able to complete the execution of the PT scenario.

    Thanks.
  • Hi,

No that's perfectly normal for the loadUI agent. It won't be happening in loadUI 2.0, but it does no harm at all, so just ignore it.

  • Is there a way to get throughput value (network throughput in kbytes) from the default report that is generated when a scenario is run from the command line? OR is it possible to customize the default generated report template?

I've answered this in the other topic you posted. In the future, please don't cross-post.
