If offline: don't waste your time - loadUI won't install
I was trying to install loadUI on one of our datacenter servers that, alas, have no connectivity to the internet (for a reason...) and I just wasted considerable time trying to get loadUI installed, but none of the hint offered in misc. posts in this forum worked.
Neither
did the trick.
Maybe that often mentioned, mythical all-new version will eventually install and work offline, but after waiting for >2 months for it now I decided to not waste any more time getting this to work but to look for some other tool! >:(

Neither
- installing Java including JavaFX beforehand nor
- fiddling with javaws (Java WebStart) settings and cache nor
- configuring the Java control applet to remove all certificates and downloaded files nor
- deleting the .loadUI folder and reinstalling loadUI nor
- copying the installation directory from a working setup on another machine and starting it with loaduitest.bat nor
- trying with Java 6.0 plus JavaFX nor
- with Java 7 (which includes JavaFX) installed before installing loadUI nor
- misc. other shots into the dark
did the trick.
