If offline: don't waste your time - loadUI won't install

I was trying to install loadUI on one of our datacenter servers that, alas, have no connectivity to the internet (for a reason...) and I just wasted considerable time trying to get loadUI installed, but none of the hint offered in misc. posts in this forum worked.
Neither

• installing Java including JavaFX beforehand nor


• fiddling with javaws (Java WebStart) settings and cache nor


• configuring the Java control applet to remove all certificates and downloaded files nor


• deleting the .loadUI folder and reinstalling loadUI nor


• copying the installation directory from a working setup on another machine and starting it with loaduitest.bat nor


• trying with Java 6.0 plus JavaFX nor


• with Java 7 (which includes JavaFX) installed before installing loadUI nor


• misc. other shots into the dark

did the trick.
Maybe that often mentioned, mythical all-new version will eventually install and work offline, but after waiting for >2 months for it now I decided to not waste any more time getting this to work but to look for some other tool! >:(
