HTTP Request not allowing redirects with SoapUI4.0 and above

Hi,

I'm running an HTTP request that basically fills in some fields and then adds items from a listbox (datasource loop) and at the end it submits the request. After submitting, the request should go to a summary page showing my selections and a newly generated id. In 3.5 and 3.6 this request ran fine. In 4.0 the request stops when it tries to redirect. Attached is the difference that is displayed in the HTTP log. Follow redirects is set to true. If set to false, it will stop at "HTTP/1.1 302 Object moved".

    Hi,

    thanks, this is because the Location header only contains a path and not the entire URI; it's in our backlog for fixing.

    Thanks for the reply. Do you have an estimation of when this will be fixed? This issue is keeping us on 3.6 for 1 project (the one I sent you for another issue regarding ant jar files).

    I tried this in 4.01 and still have the same issue. When will this bug be addressed?

    I've now raised the priority of this issue [SOAPUI-2455]. I've spoken to our head of products about this, and it's a serious bug in his point of view. I'm sure it will be fixed pretty soon since it's a regression bug.

    The nightly build fixed the issue. Thanks for the fix!! When is 4.02 going to be released? If soon, I'll wait until then to install it on the 3 boxes that need it.

    Hi Mary,

    we don't have any planned release date for 4.0.2 yet - it might stay as a nightly build until 4.5 goes beta in February.
