How well soapui scripts/tests/projects merge with ready pi?

Do we need license version of ready API to execute the tests created using ready API?

No! Not necessarily need a license version of SoapUI in order to execute the tests created using SoapUI NG. But, as dicussed in the above threads, we might have few constraints in executing the below set in SoapUI NG,

  • Test cases which uses Pro features (Data Source, Data Sink, Assertion test step etc.,)
  • Reporting features specific to NG
  • Multi environment support
  • SoapUI NG specific plugins
  • Script libraries

 

Here you can find the comparison data between SoapUI and SoapUI NG. Again to reiterate we can run projects created in ReadyAPI - SoapUI NG through SoapUI OS.

    Yes, so we will need multiple or floating licenses if we want everyone to share the scripts to use any features on readyAPI which is not part of soapUI Pro
