How to run multiple SQL(Insert) statements in JDBC Request?

How to run multiple SQL(Insert) statements in JDBC Request?   I am using Ready! API 1.9.0

If we run the jdbc step in a loop, we are establishing the connection and disconnecting it for each SQL Statement right??
