How to retrieve total message count from a sonic MQ topic

I am trying to find message count from a topic. any suggestions? I tried getenumeration, it worked for queue not topic as per the code mentioned in this link: http://www.soapui.org/JMS/working-with- ...

Trying to understand your case. It needs to get the statistics like total inbound message transactions happend to the topic so far from the begining of SonicMQ started, is it correct?
Or pending messages?
