how to read endpoint and xml request data from Excel

I am seeking help with how to accomplish the following goal:

I have an excel file that lists webservice connections to be tested, the xml request to be sent and the expected validation response. I would like to know if it's possible for SoapUI Pro to read the excel worksheet and cycle through each endpoint and xml request and validate against the response column? 

Or if I have to set up each endpoint manually as a soap request first, is it possible to cycle through each XML request listed in the excel file?

I've tried setting it up with a datasource step but I am having trouble getting it configured properly to read either the endpoint or the xml request from the file. Any help to be provided would be great. Thank you.
