How to change the loadui home folder

I can imagine this question has been asked over and over, but... I can't find the answer.

Loadui puts about 150MB of data in the user-profile.

But I want this data somewhere else, since the size of my profile is limited here.
Where can I change this for loadUI?

Thanks in advance,

Tom

  • Hi Tom!

There are two different paths that may interest you:
    • The path where loadUI saves projects.

    • The path where loadUI saves results (autosaved as well as archived).

The latter only applies if you are using the latest release, loadUI 1.5 (beta).

To change the first one, just Save as... a project in the desired location -- loadUI will keep saving all projects there from then on. To change the second one, refer to this part of the documentation.

    Henrik,

Thanks for the answer, much appreciated, but my concern is more the following:
    I installed loadUI in folder X (i.e. d:\eviware\loadUI\)
Then when I launch loadUI for the first time, it creates a .loadUI folder in my user-folder (i.e. c:\users\userName)
    This is about 150MB
But I don't want it there since my user-profile is too small for that and I'm not in a position to change the size
