Generate Test Plan out of soapui project
Hello,
I personally like to have very detailed project descriptions, testsuites descriptions, testcase descriptions in my soapUI project.
In a way the test plan is self contained in the soapui project. However, most management folks do not have soapui and typically require some ms word file listing the test plan.
A test plan for me is typically
Music Service TestPlan <soapui project name>
some high level description about the music service <project description>
references to relevant project documents on sharepoint/confluence/etc. <this would require a new feature from soapui, a links tab at the project level where I can add url to docs/webpages/etc>
Account Management <testsuite name>
testing adding/managing of accounts <testsuite description>
references to relevant project documents on sharepoint/confluence/etc. <this would require a new feature from soapui, a links tab at the testsuite level where I can add url to docs/webpages/etc>
TC-01-add account <testcase name>
testcase desc <testcase description>
TC-02-delete accountt <testcase name>
testcase desc <testcase description>
Generating this via soapUI would be a very cool feature indeed
