Failure after avg. respose time 60 seconds

I'm performing a load testing using a SoapUI runner (with all the default parameters). I'm using Fixed Rate Generator set at a rate of 500/sec. I'm running totally 1000 requests.
The method I'm testing is pulling up close to 3800 bytes of data for every successful run. I can see the Avg response time increasing gradually. My issue is, the response starts to fail once the average response time reaches 60000 millisecs. I would like to know if it is a default setting with the LoadUI that could be changed ? I don't want the process to fail once avg. response time reached 60000 millisecs. Pls advice.
