excluding selected teststep executing from from report

Hello,
I have soapui testscases which I use in my load test (soapui and loadui). I am very interested in the execution time of the testcase but necessarily all the test steps in the testcase. for instance I can have a jdbc query within my testcase to fetch testdata. the time taken for this jdbc query does has nothing to do with the actual test on the application.

would it be possible that each teststep have a 'propertiesstep properties' 'ignore execution time' which when set to true ensures that the stats in soapui and loadui do not account this execution time.
