Excel DataSource data log pane sorts retrieved values

I set up an Excel DataSource with a single column and numeric values in the source spreadsheet. When testing the step, the data log pane displays the retrieved values in sorted order rather than the order in the spreadsheet. See attached screenshot.

Note that this does not occur when running the test case, so this is not a major problem.

    Hi!

    it looks like you have pressed the column-header for the first column (which sorts the table on that column), could that be the case?

    Actually I don't know how to "unsort" though.. maybe shift-click?

    Ahh, now I see the very very faint sort arrow on the right.

    Yes, shift-click does restore the order.

    Thanks for clearing that up. This was confusing as sorting is not available while running in a test case so it's not functionality I would expect to be present.

    The sort indicator could be a little more obvious - maybe darker and present on both the left and right side of the title bar. But perhaps this is a component limitation.
