environment variable for wsdl

Hi,
I'm trying to set the path to find the wsdls in the soapui project xml file to use a set environment variable. I use ${#Env#<variable name>}/<path>. On opening the project, after making the change, the project loads the wsdls successfully but on run time when it does schema assertions the wsdl lookups fail.

I'm not sure if this is a problem with how soapui converts the URIs or if this is something I can fix myself.

Any help would be appreciated,
