Ending up running is failed

when to run test case that contains some test step, if one step has no response for a long time, it is always running. and may be i want to stop it, the cancel or stop icon seems no working. and return to test suite, it also has not working. so i have to close soapUI to exit.
ps: i have not add any assertions and set up any value for it.
