Duplicate test case names

Hi

When we update the definition in the soap UI I see, it created test cases exactly with the same name? Why do you allow to generate test cases with duplicate name?

    Do you have this problems in newest version ? I had this only in 3.6 version and also when I import project which was create by older soap ui to newer

    Hi,

    To create duplicate test cases follow below steps:

    1. Right click on the interface and Click “Update Definition”
    2. Click “OK”

    Now we want to update the testSuite with updated test cases. Right on your interface

    3. Click “Generate TestSuite”
    4. Select existing TestSuite and Click “OK”

    You will find same TestSuite with duplicate testCases.

    This should not be case as there should not be more than one TestCase with the same name in a TestSuite.

    All the steps are carried out in soapUI PRO 4.5.0
