Does soapUI validate certificate send by HTTPS Server ?

Hi,

I am trying to perform HTTPS transactions using soapUI as HTTPS client. I have configured a Linux machine as webserver. The server sends certificate as part of the TLS. Does soapUI verify/validate the certificate send by server ? Where should I copy the certificates in soapUI ?
I have seen "SSL settings" option but it looks to be applicable for client authentication & mock server config.

Can you please clarify ?
