Deploying multiple loadUI agents at once

I'm currently planning to perform some load testing of our product soon, and was wondering if there is a recommended method for deploying multiple (as in over 10) loadUI agents at once. My preference would be to use Chef (http://www.opscode.com/chef/) or Puppet (http://puppetlabs.com/). Of course, home grown scripts running over ssh would do, but probably require more maintenance man hours.

Before I get started, I wanted to reach out on this board to see if anyone has any experiences or pointers they would like to share.
