The above sounds feasible, but only seems to "kick the can" down the road. You are eventually going to go through all of the properties in your files and be in the same boat of needing fresh data.

 

Generating these properties with a groovy script and/or a DataSource groovy script would simplify a lot of what you are trying to do, I think.
