Continual Datasource Loop

Hi all,

firstly, im just starting so please go easy 

I have created a datasource to Excel & a loop so it will grab row after row of data and this is working well, the XML is sending nicley. However when there is no more data the loop starts from the top of the spreadsheet again instead of stopping.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to stop the loop when the data runs out?

    Hi!

    could it be that you have set the loop step to loop back to the datasource itself instead of the first step after the datasource?

    Hello Ole, thanks for the reply!

    I set it up as below if this helps.

    1)Datasource
    2)TestRequest
    3)Datasource loop

    the datasource picks up 1/9 context ids or reference number from the spreadsheet, puts it in the testrequest and sends then moves on.

    again I'm new so i have done this purely through playing and working it out.

    Configured as per the blog and now stops evertime. Don't quite understand why the old version started re running however it works now.
