Cloning Assertions problem with Ready API 1.2.2 SoapUI NG PRO

I have one test suite with several test cases.  In the test cases, there are several test steps.  When looking at the assertions created in a test step under some test cases, I can clone assertions.  Under other test cases, the assertions in those test steps can not be cloned.  In other words, I can select the clone assertions menu item or select the clone assertions button and nothing happens - a dialog does not appear nor do any error messages appear.  Is there a reason why this would happen or is this a bug?

    Interestingly enough, I changed the name of one of the test steps and I was then able to clone the assertions on all the test steps in that test case.
