checking file already created from background tasks

we do have service mocking, but that isn't what you need. For asynchronous testing you should use a MockResponse Step - http://www.soapui.org/SOAP-and-WSDL/testing-asynchronous-services.html

Let me know if that fits still doesn't fit your test requirement and what else you would be looking for
