Can't open SoapUI generated PDF report

Hi,

Here is a situation I came across recently.

I was doing a 12h load test (using SoapUI Pro, loadtest facility). After the test was completed I have successfully generated a report again using SoapUI facilities. As the test was for 12h and quite big number of users, the report contained 10,000+ pages. From report viewer I did saved the report to PDF file. The size was about 23MB. The problem I face now is that I cannot open this report anymore. Any PDF viewer (Acrobat, Foxit, Mac Preview) returns "File is corrupted" error message.

Any advice, help or comments (maybe even fix?) is very appreciated.
P.S. maybe someone also faced the same issue and can put some details in a thread as well.

Thanks,
M.

    Hi

Test has 10 steps. As the test was executed for 12h, it did approximately 65,000 transactions. ~3% of them were with errors.
When the report was generated both checkboxes (Flow layout and Detailed Error Information) where un-checked.

  • Hi,

File with that number of pages should be much larger, so I assume it wasn't saved properly. Unfortunately it's probably lost. Saving it to pdf is external functionality build in soapUI. We will consider adding an internal limit for avoiding reports of this size in the future, hopefully that will result in valid reports.
