Cannot start LoadUI on Linux Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

I have installed LoadUI 1.0 on my Linux Ubuntu 10.04 LTS but cannot run it: it shows only startup splash picture which remains on the screen so that I only have to reboot in order to get rid of it
Please suggest further.
