can requests to webservices be called from outside SoapUI

If I have successfully submitted a request to an endpoint url and received a response back. Can I trigger this request from outside SoapUI and then dump the file, parse it and consume the response? ...

You could potentially execute a test case that calls the request in SoapUI with command line: http://www.soapui.org/Test-Automation/f ... tests.html

and use this trick to right the response out: http://www.soapui.org/Scripting-Propert ... into-files
