Can getdata be done from 1 testcase to another as how it is done from 1 teststep to another?

I have created a test suite. In that i have created 2 test cases, A and B.    I am aware that getdata can be done from 1 test step to another within a test case.    I want to know if getdata can ...

If you right click and choose the 'get data' option, you will see the project, test suites and test cases in this project. Then you just choose the data from those places. Please check the attached picture.

    The problem is that when I try to getdata()->Testsuite, i do not see the list of test suites. Instead, I just see 'create new'. please advice. Attached a screenshot for reference.

      I am using ready!API soapUI NG. Yours is SoapUI Pro 5.1.2. It would be different GUI. Could you click on the down arrow under the list to expand more test cases inside that test suite?

        Also you can upgrade to Ready!API with your current license.
