Byte order mark isn't fixed or supported

SoapUI Version: 4.5.1 (not nightly build).

We are testing out our new web services platform. Our responses now contain byte order marks (BOM).
Looks like from this http://www.soapui.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11219&p=28197&hilit=BOM#p28197, the requests contain BOMs. Is there a way for SoapUI to accept BOM's in the responses?
