Auth definition - Does not always work when modified or used in diff test

Hello,

Changing login values in Auth definiton will break the Auth and will fail to login to my web service

For example, If I change the values in a Auth definition the test will fail to login.  Even if I put back the original values in the Auth definition it still fails.  I'm left with a broken Auth.

Workaround that sometimes works is to toggle the Auth option between global pref and authenticate pre-emptively.

Same Auth definition does not work in two different tests.

I have two test suites using the same Auth definition.  Both are running the same web service with same values.  The first works and the 2nd one fails with error:

Authenticated access required

Is the Auth feature caching?  Can you use different Auth definitions for each test step?  Or does a test suite require all test step use the same Auth definition?

Regards,

Jenn
