We need more info on the exact steps to be able to reproduce and try to solve this.
Could you please try to explain step by step how do you get the exception? This kind of error occurs when soapUI tries to access items that don't exist in the project file any more, and tends to disappear after reloading project or restarting soapUI, so it makes it hard to reproduce.
Is there more detailed error info in the soapUI.log or soapUI-errors.log ?
If it happens also after restarting soapUI could you please send us the project file or at least exported TestCase so we try to reproduce ?
