Thank you for your post! If you use Groovy DataSource or DataSink it can be more customizable.
To get started with Groovy in ReadyAPI, please refer to the following links:

You can also use the DataSource and DataSink of the 'File' type - they can read and write from a text file (for example, .csv): https://support.smartbear.com/readyapi/docs/soapui/steps/data-sink.html
