adding assertion via groovy to assertion teststep

Isn't your problem being addressed if the assertion added to teststep?

    Hi Rao., when reading an xml message from a soa queue into a property an assertion teststep or a groovy script with assertions is the only way. As there is a nich way to add an assertion I would imagine that there is also a nice way to add an assertion to an asserion teststep based on a property assignment.

     

    You are right that in case of a soap request adding the assertion to the teststep can be used.
