I have the same issue on a Windows PC when I'm trying to clone assertions. I have a current support call open and its still ongoing so i'll let you know what the issue if and when they resolve it to see if it is linked

I found the issue to be a corrupted workspace. I had to create a new workspace and then reimport the project back into the new workspace. I still dont know how the workspace got corrupted, but creating a new workspace resolved it
