The code segment I have is this:

and when I run this from within ReadyApi, I get this output:

- Mon Mar 09 14:46:52 GMT 2015:INFO:Today testrunner = 2015-03-09
but when I run it from TestRunner, I get this:

Hope that clarifies things a bit more...
I got 1.0.0, where it is showing log details correctly for the mentioned case using launch TestRunner.
Would it be possible to share your log when launched with TestRunner? Do you see anything in soapui.log, soapui-error.log, script.log files?

This is proving most interesting.
I assert that there is an issue.
You assert that there is not.
Is it possible that there are some project settings that are causing this, or some environment settings?
I have attached the project file that I am using, so that you can try this out.
This project file contains 2 groovy scripts.
"Setup Script (Just Reading)"
- This can be run from within ReadyApi, and it will return the project's custom properties.
- However, if you run this script using TestRunner (from within ReadyApi), then the script runs again, but the behaviour is different - it will not access the project's custom properties.
The other script (which is disabled) is "Setup Script (Write, Then Read)"
- If you run that from TestRunner, you will see that it writes the project custom properties first.
- Then, the other script runs, and that WILL then be able to read the (written) project custom properties.
Can you take a look at this, and try to duplicate it?
If you can duplicate it - great. If you can't then it is an environment issue or something, which will be interesting to identify.
