Is the DataSource step in the same test case as the test referencing it?
Everything is in same test case
Tried both using GRIDS and Excel
running data shows all the values
my test step that is referencing data source shows them all as empty?
Can you provide some screenshots of the test case, the datasources, and the test step itself? Request, and Raw Request would be ideal.
While posting the question, it is very important to understand that the question should have a complete details including data, otherwise people can't read your mind (or your situation) remotely and provide solution. Please consider providing details as much as possible so that others can understand the problem clearly before arriving to any possible solution.
Its impossible to provide data in proprietary compnay developed test cases.
I have given scenarios where I tried to have 13 attributes using excel or the data grid.
That does not work
The best thing I can do is raise a ticket with support.

Thanks and I do agree but in this case I cannot post test data on a forum for security reasons!
Posting data - it is completely understand in the corporate world and does not mean to show as it is, in fact not interested at all in it, if the question is not dependent on it. Instead you could provide dummy /sample data resembling your data / its structure in case complex.
