It probably depends on what you are looking for. If you can get your data out of your legacy system and into a CSV file, you can import it into ALMComplete and our other editions.
Regarding the email: ALMComplete has a Support Manager whereDefects are submitted and handled via email. You can read about it here: http://softwareplanner.com/usersguide_supportmanager.pdf
