Error: Mention that you will need Add access to the Lookups entry

I had a user receive the following error when trying to modify the parameter info for a custom report.

"You do not have the security authority to perform this action, please check with your security administrator to gain access.  Mention that you will need Add access to the Lookups entry."

I know users need the "Security Admin" flag set in order to work with custom reports, and he has this enabled.

There is nothing "reports" related in the "Security Group Privileges" screen.

Anyone have any ideas?

We know report maintenance was considered an admin task, so yes, the Security Admin box has to be checked.

Lookups is tied to Manage Choice Lists.

If you are modifying parameters on a report, the system is considering those as choice lists, and this needs to be enabled. See video

That worked!  From the Setup tab, expand Security, and click on the Security Groups item.  Then click on the Manage Security Rights icon for the appropriate role.  Scroll to the bottom, and check the Manage Choice Lists box.
