- I'm not sure I’ve understand you correctly. Please correct me if I’m wrong in the following assumptions:
You have a form that submits results
You going to replace specified values with WebLoadUI variable
You have already created variables
The dropdown box in the form don’t show the variable that you have created - dkactContributorsorry for the confusion..
Application has a wizrard with 10 forms. The form contains text fields and some dropdowns. I need to define variables for these text fields and dropdowns so that I can useit for parametrization and perform load test with max users.
When cross check the recording,(i.e view the request generated against the wizard) the , page says only the button caption next (of wizard) request displys only parametet tab with blank sheet.
Now how do i achive parameterization? - The list in my first anwer is an actual guideline. You should inspect your traffic and find the request witch sends specified data to the server. You should parameterize them one by one. Not an interesting and a fun job but it’s the only way in free version. Parameterization Wizard finds all the parameters for your and allows to create or associate the data with it one place. But it’s a pro feature only http://webloadui.org/go-pro/top-reasons-to-go-pro.html
- dkactContributorAlso when i access the request against the wizrd i am not displayed with the text, form, datamodifiers tab. I am displayed with only parameters tab. How should i define varible now
Please help me on the same. - Please read this topic http://webloadui.org/docs/testing/parameterizing/requests/parameterizing-requests-toc.html It should answer this questions.
- dkactContributorhey..
Following the same steps which are mentioned in the link for parameterization.
but I am displayed blank parameter tab for the wizard. - Try to turn on Show URL parameters checkbox.
- dkactContributorIs this feature is avaialble with free version
- Parametrizaton Wizard is a Pro feature only http://webloadui.org/go-pro/top-reasons-to-go-pro.html
- dkactContributorWe are using free version for our project
