[LoadUIWeb] Load testing Apache Web server - Resolving 'Connection:Close' errors

Recorded a login scenario on a FLEX based application using webloaduiPro. Apache web server acts as a load balancer for application servers and my tests were on the Apache web server.

Verification of the scenario failed and errors are reported as 'Connection 36 of the scenario assigned to the virtual user "Virtual user (1)" was not simulated.'

Starting from the first request, noticed 'Connection:Close' derivative in the response headers.

In the logs, noticed  'Virtual user "Virtual user (1)": The connection was closed.' messages with Green Success Icons

From the help gathered that the issue might be caused by the host's protection against denial of service (DoS) attacks and forcibly close the corresponding connections

This happens only for the tests on Web server and not for the tests on Application Server.

I am stuck and need help in resolving these errors.

  • How many virtual users are you using for your test? If the problem appears only for a big amout of users you mas setup a rndom think time. This may help you to check ddos server protection.
  • In this caase it's not looks like DDOS atack protection. Can you try to re-record yor scenario?

    Hi

I am using the latest 2.9 PRO version for load tests on a web server.

AUT is flex based. On the recordings made on web server, noticed connection:close derivate in every response header.

This inturn is translated in every tests.

Although the tests are passed, wanted some one to confirm that this a normal behaviour / expected.

    Appreciate a quick response.
